Pottery Painting at The Find Store

Whether you are making something special for yourself or a loved one, pottery painting is a brilliant creative activity for all ages. We can even capture tiny baby footprints on ceramic!

Booking & Sessions

• We recommend booking in advance, particularly at weekends and during school holidays.
• Sessions last 1 hour 45 minutes. During busier periods we do ask that you stick to your booked slot — if you'd like more time, we are more than happy to book you in for another session to finish your piece.
• Please only book for guests who are painting. Do let us know about any non-painters when you book so everyone has a comfortable seat.
• You may be sharing a table with other guests — all part of the fun!

Pricing

• £6 studio fee per person — this covers your paint, glazing, and firing, and once you have paid, you are welcome to paint as many items as you like payable separately on the day!
• The studio fee doesn't include the pottery pieces themselves. Have a browse of our full range here.
• Cancellations: Full refund with 24+ hours' notice. If something comes up at short notice, do give us a ring and we'll do our best to sort something out — 020 8850 5210.

Turnaround & Collection

• Your pottery is usually ready within up to 3 weeks (often sooner!).
• Need it in a hurry? We can fast-track orders (under 5 days) for a £15 fee per two items.
• UK delivery available for £8.50. International shipping is quoted on an individual basis.
• Once we've been in touch to let you know your piece is ready, we will hold it for 4 weeks. After that, sadly we do need to free up shelf space in our busy studio.

In the Studio

• Our coffee bar serves hot drinks, soft drinks, cakes, and biscuits — just the thing while you get creative.
• We have baby changing facilities and 2 high chairs, so little ones are very welcome.
• Please note we're only able to fire pottery purchased in our studio.

Getting Here & Parking

• We are a 3-minute walk from Lee station and 15 minutes from Hither Green.
• Weekday parking is restricted 10am–12 noon (pay-by-phone is available nearby). Parking is free at weekends.
