Good to Know!
- Studio capacity: We can host a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 16 children per party.
- Party times: Parties take place Sundays 3.45–5.15pm, or after school on weekdays, subject to availability. We keep to these slots so the studio is exclusively yours, we are a working coffee shop, so parties can't run alongside our normal opening hours, and there isn't room for both at once. We are also not able to offer party package Option 2 (with food) outside of these times.
- Smaller groups (up to 8 children) up to 2 non painters: Why not book a Regular pottery painting session instead? It runs for around 1.5 hours and you are welcome to bring a small cake (though we can't allow other snacks or food). It's a lovely, flexible option, you could always continue the celebration elsewhere afterwards, or grab a pizza next door at Casa Linda. Note this isn't an exclusive booking — you will share the studio with other painters, and setting a pottery budget per child is optional and up to you.
- Best age: Parties work best for children aged 6 and up, as younger ones tend to find it harder to stay focused for the full session.
- Your time slot: Exclusive-use parties run for 1.5 hours. This usually gives plenty of time for painting, food and cake, plus a game or two if you fancy it — though this isn't essential, just a nice bonus if time allows.
- Off-site parties: Prefer a party at your own venue? This is available with Package 1 only, at £55 per team member (one team member per 8 children), on top of the party package price. This covers setup, running the session and clearing away. Parking and congestion charges will be added to your final bill where applicable.
- What's included: Each child can paint one pottery item up to £16 in value. Anything chosen on the day above this price will be charged separately.
- Drinks: We sell hot and soft drinks at the studio on the day — please don't bring your own.
- Food: Party packages include food and drinks for the children, so we ask that you don't bring your own — except, of course, for the birthday cake!
- Collection: Pottery will be ready to collect within 3 weeks of the party.
- Confirming your booking: Your party is confirmed once we have agreed a date and received both your booking form and deposit. Submitting your booking form means you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
