About this experience

Join us for a wheel throwing taster class in our Lee studio. The class will consist of a short introduction to the studio, the materials and wheel throwing techniques.  


£100 for 1 to 1 or £80 for 2 to 1


If you don't mind sharing a session with another student, then choose the £80 option. Likewise if you want to attend with a friend or partner, then choose the £80 option.


If you would like a 1 to 1 lesson, then please choose the £100 option.


Included in this 2 hour class is the opportunity to learn and use the pottery wheel and choose one item to fire and glaze. Your piece will then be left with us to dry and glaze in a colour and finish of your choice, and will be ready to collect within 8. weeks.


Please supply your own apron and cloths/towels to clean up as you go - it will be messy!


Now for the boring but important part. . .
All classes are refundable up until 28 days prior to the start of the course. After this we may be able to reschedule your course. PLEASE NOTE: From 14 days prior, your course is non-refundable. We are a small, indpendent pottery studio and our courses run at capacity. Teachers and materials are organised in advance for the number of booked participants.


About the teacher: Saria is a full time designer and interdisciplinary artist based in Blackheath. 
Raised in a family of artists she discovered clay as a child in Italy and never abandoned the practice since then!
After graduating in Fine Arts, She started teaching creative painting and pottery with a creative, flexible and fun approach for students of different levels and ages.
Over the last decade she has been an active member of several pottery studios around London working as a teacher as well as a potter with her project aryaceramics.
She loves being versatile, experimenting with all types of clay, using different techniques, making her own glazes, pushing the boundaries between materials and creating new things!
